It is important to follow a design model that ensures all phases are efficiently planned and executed to create a successful and interactive program.  To develop and implement a successful training program, we use the ADDIE process which provides a systematic approach to ensure all design steps are completed.

    4. Implementation
    5. Evaluation

The goal is to ensure that the training materials are practical, accurate, motivating, and allow flexibility to adapt the program accordingly for future use.  When developing training materials, the '1/3+ 2/3 Theory' is used, which means 1/3 of the total training time is spent presenting, while the other 2/3 is spent on practice and feedback.  Materials can be designed for soft skills i.e., presentation skills to system's training i.e., specific software program.
